A variety of the soaps we make here at Green Lotus Studios
Introducing Green Lotus Studios' newest instructors....
I am 24 years old, I used to be a full specialist cosmetologist (Hair, Skin, Nails, Facial), needless to say after two years I quickly realized that was not my calling. I am now in my junior year at university to become an elementary school teacher. I found Green Lotus Organics Studio about two years ago and FELL IN LOVE to say the least. Donna is a breath of fresh air with so much amazing knowledge I only dream to know one day. Her studio allows you to expand in many holistic and natural ways by offering a variety of different classes. I have taken beginner and intermediate herbalism and will continue into advanced. But I get most of my joy from making Cold Process Soap. I love working with my hands and have always, so this is my way to relax and have a fun time. I love that it is keeping my family away from harsh chemicals found in “regular” soap. Nothing better than knowing you are using natural, organic and essential oils to bathe with. I love making soap so much and I am excited to share this Art by teaching it to others.
Before moving to Neptune Beach last year, I worked as a nature educator for the Greenwell Foundation and taught English at the College of Southern Maryland. Now I enjoy tutoring high school, college, and graduate students in English while learning about the flora and fauna of the Jacksonville area. I am excited to share my passion for exploring the outdoors with Green Lotus Studios through Nature Journaling Workshops!
Help Green Lotus Studios Grow and Move to Five Points!
A bigger space has become available in Five Points!
Located on the corner of Forbes and Margaret Streets, this more centrally located space will allow us to grow our studio and will mean well lighted and safer parking, security cameras and an overall safer area for our members to attend classes.
But we can't do it without your support! Please click on our GoFundMe link here or to the right and check out our rewards and offers from $5 and up.
We've raised almost $6,500 of the $8,600 we need.
Please help get us across the home stretch!
Great gift ideas for you or your friends and family!
