Instant Gift: Melt and Pour Project Soap
In this hands-on class, we'll make a beautiful cranberry chocolate mint 'cake' bar, right in time for holiday gift-giving and sharing!
Unlike our cold process soap which takes weeks to cure, this soap will be ready to use in hours and each bar will be packaged and ready to give when you leave class.
You'll take home 4 six ounce bars of soap.
We'll start with a high quality, all natural vegetable glycerin soap base that you will melt, mix, add color and scent with your choice of essential oils or fragrance oils. We'll discuss all the interesting things you can put into your soap (like toys, colorants and oils, etc.). This class was designed with total beginners in mind, it is also taken by those who have tried making basic melt & pour before and had some problems or are ready to learn some of the more tricky techniques that really make your soap personalized and unique. All students will take home helpful handouts with instructions, tips, recipe ideas as well as 3 soap projects you created in class. You will also package your soap so it's completely ready to use or give away.
