Rag rugs are rugs that are made from re-cycled or up-cycled material. Long ago women would save their scraps of material in a bag until they finally had enough to create their rug. They would then use those scraps to create beautiful and durable works of art. There are several techniques for creating rag rugs and we will do them all in this series. They include weaving, crocheting, knotting, braiding, and hooking.
