Florida School of Holistic Health offers a comprehensive Master Herbalist course which delivers a broad spectrum of information on herbal medicine, aromatherapy and the use of flower essences.
Through our Master Herbalist course, you will discover the history of herbal medicine, how to cultivate and use herbs for health, cooking, nutrition and beauty, and how to conduct a consultation and prepare both external and internal remedies specific to client needs as well as how to develop your own client intake and follow up forms.
The course material includes details of several hundred herbs, their habitat, uses and actions, constituents and any contraindications. We will discuss different body systems and how herbs can affect them. You will learn how to use these modalities to get the body into homeostasis, the bodies healthiest state. This herbal medicine course draws from international knowledge and includes lessons on the three main traditions of healing (Chinese, Western, and Ayurvedic), as well as a full database of herbal medicine uses and properties. This course will teach you how to design and blend your own recipes.
With this herbalism course, you will also gain a thorough understanding of the theory and uses of aromatherapy oils, flower essences, Bach remedies and tissue salts.
The legal aspects of operating an herbal medicine business are also discussed in this course, providing you with up-to-date information. By completing this course you will be completely knowledgeable with modern practices relating to the use of herbal and plant remedies.
