Weeds and trees... The Medicine of kings, queens and dukes from numerous countries around the world. Kings, queens and dukes of Austria, Spain, Italy, and Prussia were all supporters of the use of Homeopathy including Czars of Russia. Believe it or not Arnica is a kin to the sunflower of the Asteracea family. It’s a small glowing sun for those suffering from sore muscles, pain and inflammation. Don’t let its size deceive you though. It is a pretty powerful herb! Arnica is an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and analgesic herb. Be careful however, not to confuse this flower with other pretty yellow flowering herbs. Arnica should not be taken internally except in extremely small doses under the care of a Master herbalist and a licensed physician.
