D.I.Y. Sandal Making!!

For centuries people have been making sandals! They make them from leather, wood, fabric, plastic and anything else they can come up with. I absolutely love sandals! I grew up close to the beach so sandals were a staple. I also enjoy being creative and making do it yourself items!  What does creativity have to do with sandals, you ask? I am so very glad you asked!

Well… I was at Green Lotus studios the other night for the Herbal Salves, Ointments & Balms 101 class, which was awesome by the way, and in the next room they were having a D.I.Y. sandal making class! They were having such a great time in there I just could not resist sneaking out of class to get a few pictures to share the FUN! This is a great class for parents and their older children! A fantastic Party idea if you are trying to plan a Birthday party for a group of teenagers or just an outing for you and your friends.

So many things to choose from to create your sandals… Create something to match an outfit in your closet or maybe something different so you can have an excuse to go buy a new outfit! Either way your in for a FUN night!
