Bath Bombs, Sugar Scrubs, Oh My!

It was a fine Sunday morning when the boyfriend and I decided to go and have another go at learning new things. On the agenda - Bath Bombs and Sugar Scrubs. Now, why would you think a boy would want to make bath products? Simply because I dragged him into it!

Our group got divided to two - and all of us have to chip in to make the sugar scrubs. We got to make three colored scrubs (which look like cake slices) and after an hour, it's done - and you get to keep two each, fun, right?

The thing is, with this kind of activity, you'll need to work together as a team and make sure you guys agree on the colors and the scents. That makes it even more fun - plus the divide and conquer approach can make things a bit faster than doing everything yourself. You don't even need to use much scrub product in the shower, and it actually smells so good! (Note: Expect the color to darken the longer you store your products)

The second part of the activity was making the bath bombs, and not just ordinary bath bombs. They are shaped like cupcakes! The bottom part was easy enough: citric acid + baking soda + fragrance and tadah! Making the icing is harder - it actually grew and grew and grew, like it had a life of its own.
