In searching for the history of Valentine’s Day I found it has quite a diverse past. So I asked myself “What does Valentine’s Day mean at Green Lotus Studios”? Most likely, the first thing one thinks of is hearts, cupid’s arrow and true love.

I thought about last Saturday…

I remembered a group of people that came together and worked side by side to accomplish something both useful and beautiful! The goal was to create a low INS soap using what was previously learned. These classes are invaluable! There is so much to learn about different oils and what they do for your skin. Which oils make your soap lather, and which will make your soap too soft? Your team creates this recipe while under the guidance of Ms. Donna.

You prepare a plan of action so everyone is taking part in the process of creating a beautiful product!

We converse and laugh together at the struggles… Much the same as friends do in life.

 Green Lotus studios is about learning how to be healthy both inside and out! Green Lotus is also about something more…

It’s about building relationships in the community. Green Lotus is about helping others through which friendships are born.

I propose that Valentine’s Day is NOT about TRUE LOVE but FRIENDSHIPS. Love comes in many forms. Love of a spouse, child or friend.  After all friendships... is where true love is born.
